If you’ve been following along for awhile via my blog or instagram, then I’m sure you’ve noticed that I wear clutches a lot. At first thought it probably seems unrealistic since I’m a mom, but I’ve found over the past 2 years that it’s the best bag for a mom.

Just this past month I styled a tortoise clutch here, a leopard clutch here, and a bold colored clutch here.

I think I’ve grown so fond of carrying a clutch since the girls were born because it’s such an easy way for me to stay on trend without complicating things. I typically keep my wallet, phone, and lip gloss in my clutch and then throw my clutch into my diaper bag for the day. This way when I’m headed out the door to go on a date with Trav or if I’m out running errands while the girls are at school, all I have to do is pull my clutch out of the bag and I’m good to go.

3 Reasons You Should Carry a Clutch

1: make a statement – a clutch is the perfect accessory to add a bold print or pop of color to make a statement and take your #ootd up a notch!

2: incorporate the season’s trendiest color – if you’re hesitant to buy clothing in a trendy color, buy a clutch that you can carry with multiple outfits and still stay on trend

3: transition from “mom” to “wife” – I love that I can have my clutch is my Kate Spade diaper bag all day while I’m running around with the girls and then simply pull it out of my bag and head out the door on a date with the hubs! So easy!
