The Best Accessories For Fall And My Favorite Gold Necklaces

Are you an accessories person? I don’t have a ton of accessories, but I find that with each season I tend to wear the same shoes, the same hats or the same gold necklaces over and over again.

Despite the 90 degree weekend we just had here in Texas, Fall is officially here and that just makes my heart so happy! I do think that Summer is my favorite season of the year, but Fall is my favorite season for fashion. I just love getting to layer pieces together, I love wearing hats, and I love a good pair of denim.

Several weeks ago I shared my October Capsule Wardrobe and it’s definitely one of my favorite capsules to date. There are so many good versatile pieces and almost each piece can be dressed up or dressed down.

Like I mentioned above though, in addition to wearing pieces from my capsule, I’ve been wearing the same few pairs of shoes, the same hair accessories, and the same gold necklaces this Fall.

My Favorite Accessories For Fall:

The Best Gold Necklaces:

I am so happy that the necklace layering trend is transitioning from summer to fall with us. It’s such a fun trend because you really get to see people’s personalities come out with how they style their gold necklaces! I love dainty jewelry, so I’ve landed on two – three daintier chains I mix and mingle and then I just found a thicker one for a statement.

Gold “Circle Necklace” from Au-Rate: This necklace was gifted to me by Nakturnal and is the newest addition to my gold necklaces. I love that the circle design is slightly different than the pendant necklaces that are also on trend. I love that this necklace also has several loops so you can make it longer or shorter.

Palm Coin Pendant Necklace: This is probably the necklace I wear the most. I wear it as is or layered with other necklaces. The length is perfect and it’s incredibly light weight. I love the little feather designs on the pendant, too!

Paperclip Necklace: Paperclip necklaces are super trendy right now. Most are decently large, but I found this one that is oh-so-dainty! I love how it lays on my skin and it pairs well with so many different pendant or chainlink necklaces!

Chainlink Statement Necklace: I grabbed this $17 necklace from Target a couple weeks ago and think it makes the best statement layered over my other daintier chains!

My Go-To Shoes:

Finding staple shoes are key in my mind! My work attire is fairly casual (I work part-time in a school district), so luckily my work shoes work well for everyday shoes as well. I tried to be super selective about the shoes I was purchasing this season so that I could get a lot of use out of them. I purchased shoes from brands I love that have shoes that are durable, practical and comfortable.

NOTE: I got my true size in each shoe!

Cognac Mule: I haven’t owned a good cognac mule in a couple years and wanted to invest in one this year. I love the cut and shape of these mules and grabbed them on sale. I love their color and have been super happy with other Madewell mules I’ve owned in the past. These did not disappoint. The are super easy to walk in and the perfect cognac color!

Nude Mule: Y’all, this may be my favorite mule this year. It is seriously so comfortable and doesn’t need any time to break it in. I have a pretty narrow foot, but it fits well and would definitely work well on a wider foot and has ton of ability to move and stretch.

White Mule: I wore these white mules all last year and they are still in stock in most sizes this year. The pointed toe and the little buckle make them a bit dressier. They’re my go-to mule for work or nicer outfits.

White Sneaker: As much as I’d love to wear mules each and every day, I need one shoe option that works with athleisure as that’s typically mom momiform. I got these sneakers in the spring and they’ve held up so well. They are so neutral that they go with anything. They even look cute with a skirt or dress!

Snakeskin Booties: I wanted a go-to bootie for this fall, but didn’t really want to go the brown route. So, I landed on these booties and love them! They fit true to size, are so comfortable, and haven’t given me any blisters. I love that they pair well with almost any outfit and any color, too!

Moc Croc Boots: For the (very) random date nights out or dinner with girlfriends, I wanted a nicer shoe. I looked high and low for an affordable option of nude moc croc boots. However, I wasn’t able to find a pair I really liked. So, I splurged a bit and got these and am so happy I did. They are incredibly comfortable and look so cute with jeans, faux leather leggings, or a skirt!

My Favorite Hair Accessories:

I’ve had really short hair for so long, that I haven’t really had any favorite hair accessories as of late. Now that my hair has grown out a little bit though, I’m really digging some Fall hair accessories.

Amazon Wool Fedora:Y’all, I got this hat last year and wore it a ton! The sizing is adjustable and it comes in so many colors (I have the camel color). What I love about this hat is that it’s a firm brim and it’s only $18!

Brixton Wool Fedora: I wanted to have another fedora to wear with a slightly floppier brim and landed on this one. I wear Brixton fedoras all summer long and am never disappointed with their products. They are worth every penny. This one comes in two colors, but I have and love the “Light Tan.”

Hair Scrunchies: I can’t do a lot with my hair yet, but the one thing I can do is pull my hair back into a low bun. So, to jazz things up a bit I’ve been wearing scrunchies around my bun. Nothing big, but just a little something to make a small statement.

Mask Couture:

It wouldn’t be right to end this post without including my favorite mask accessory. I have been wearing this pearl mask lanyard for a couple months and love it! It’s the perfect statement for any outfit and it keeps my mask clean and hands free as I take it on and off.
