Gold and fringe – the most festive combination! When we were shopping in Chicago after Thanksgiving, I spotted this shirt at Anthropologie and thought it would be perfect paired with jeans or black leggings for a more casual New Year’s Eve look. With a 2 year old and a 3 month old, we’re thinking our NYE celebration might look a little different than years past, so I’ve been brainstorming some casual looks for NYE. I posted this casual NYE look last week, but think I like this one even better.
While I had originally bought this top to pair with jeans, I ended up pairing it with a nude tulle skirt and long green cardigan with some lace-up flats for Christmas Day. Getting multiple uses out of my clothing is a high priority for me in this stage of life if you haven’t noticed. I mean, if I’m going to spend money on myself instead of my littles then I need to know it’s money well-spent.
What is your idea of the perfect “casual” NYE outfit? I’d love to hear your ideas!!
