It’s crazy to start thinking about NYE already, but it’s right around the corner! The last couple of years we have celebrated with friends at someone’s house, which consisted of cooking a delicious meal together, making fun drinks, playing games, and laughing a lot!
A sequin dress and pumps doesn’t quite fit the bill when it comes to a casual NYE celebration, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a little sparkle in your outfit. So, today I came up with an alternative look for those more casual NYE celebrations. After all, it’s looking more and more like our NYE celebrations won’t be all glitz and glamour with two littles…at least for a while. 😉
I purchased this top on Black Friday at 40% off (steal) and loved the different textures and fabrics on it. The herringbone sleeves and sequin pockets give this shirt just the right amount of pizazz for a NYE top. I paired it with black leggings and black over-the-knee boots for a sleeker look. Also, who doesn’t love wearing leggings when you know you’ll be consuming lots and lots of food and drinks!?
