Hi, loves! Are you finished with your Christmas shopping yet? We are almost there! We finished our family secret Santa gifts last night and just have 2 more family members to finish up. I typically have the hardest time shopping for the men in my life, but this year it’s been my girls that have thrown me for a loop.
To start, both of my girls have told Santa something different every time we’ve seen him or talked about him. They have thrown out skateboards, doctor sets, teddy bears, jewelry makers, necklaces, you name it. It’s so hard to keep up and know what to buy! Veteran moms – feel free to send along any tips you may have!
Thankfully, I don’t think I’m the only one in this boat. I’ve had several other moms – both family members and followers – state their biggest struggle is kid gifts, too! Eventually, I was able to determine what to get my girls, but that doesn’t help me when it comes to buying gifts for nieces, nephews, and my friends’ kids. Buying for the opposite sex of your kids seems especially hard, too.
Because so many of us are in the same predicament, I spent time over this past weekend creating a gift guide for kids of all ages. When it comes to children gifts, I try to do a mix of educational gifts, toys, and interactive items. I want my girls to be engaged, use their imagination, and increase their gross and fine motor skills. Thankfully, most toys end up being gender neutral, too.
Because we’re so close to Christmas, too, all the gifts in each category are eligible for Prime shipping on amazon. Wohoo!
