Hey guys! Happy Thursday! I am all smiles today for two reasons – I’m headed to a yoga retreat with my mom and sister and this velvet jumpsuit is all the things. In regards to the first, y’all, I have never been to a yoga retreat, but it will be much needed. One of my biggest struggles is going hard and thinking I can handle and do everything on my own. It never works and I always come back to the realization that only through God can I do all things. It just takes me some time sometimes. I am pumped for the opportunity to restart and reset though. I’m especially excited to share this weekend with my sister and mom and am looking forward to memories and personal growth.
And this jumpsuit? You guys, it’s the best! You know how some things just make you feel like “you?” This jumpsuit is that for me. I love the trendy wide leg fit, the velvet material, and the character of this jumpsuit. It’s one of those “cool” pieces that I know I’ll keep to pass down to my daughters one day. By the way, do you guys save super trendy items solely to pass down? I already have a tub of trendy items that I can’t wait to give my girls.
After buying this jumpsuit though, I started thinking about how often we actually buy and wear velvet. It’s definitely one of those materials that never goes out of style, but it’s not the easiest to wear. I feel like as a blogger I don’t think as much about it because I’m here to take risks for me and for you. But velvet can feel daunting. It doesn’t have to be though. It doesn’t have to be a big risk. You can start small and small still makes a bit impact.
