Hey, friends! Sorry this post is getting to you a little later than normal. Apparently, an AT&T plant caught fire yesterday and it took out most of North Dallas’s internet. So, I am finally in a place with internet – wohoo! It’s crazy how crippled you feel when something like the internet goes out. For us, that affected not just our wifi, but our TV as well as we stream most things. But, it was a good excuse to climb into bed early and read an actual book.
About a month ago I posted about the 8 Jean Trends You Do Not Want to Miss Out on This Fall, and today I’m talking specifically about one of my favorite trends. I always thought I was a classically cut, skinny jeans gal in the Fall. They have such a clean look and fit so well in boots. But surprisingly, the jeans I keep reaching for are my raw hem denim jeans. They seem to have a “cool factor” that sucks me in.
The raw hem denim trend is another one of those trends that I didn’t think I would be cool enough to pull off. But, with the right pair of shoes, I think any and every gal can pull of this trend! What I recommend is pairing your denim with a pair of shoes that will show off the hem. Pair it with a shoe that hits below your hem and a little height will help draw the attention to your ankles. It will also add to the illusion of longer legs if you’re worried about wearing cropped or raw hem denim. I suggest a fun patterned or brightly colored pump, a cute bootie, or a trendy block heel.
Finding a good pair of step hem jeans isn’t the easiest task if we’re being honest. So, I did a bit of online searching and rounded up my favorite pairs for this season.
