Good morning! I hope you’re all having a great week so far! I’m still subbing in for a speech therapist in Mesquite ISD and boy are the students ready for a break! Oh, and did you hear the good news? I have extended the 12 Days of Giftsmas until tonight!! So, be sure to enter each and every one of them. The first 11 can be found under the hashtag #fleurdilles12daysofgiftsmas on my instagram and the last one – a free teeth whitening tray, can be found here. The teeth whitening giveaway will run for 2 weeks to give you all a bit more time to enter and then we’ll pick a winner right before we head into the new year! You can see images of all the gifts here, too!
Alrighty guys, how many of you are fully immersed in the holiday party scene? We’re on day 3 of 8 consecutive holiday parties. Yes, that is insane. Some have been more formal (check out Ann Taylor’s dresses for some great option), but a lot of ours have been casual. As a mom of 2 young girls, I continually find myself in this hard space of not knowing what is appropriate to wear. Part of me still wants to show a little skin and feel sexy for myself and my husband, but at the same time I want to be a good role model for my girls. I mean, how much skin is too much skin? How much cleavage is too much cleavage? There’s no real hard and fast rule here. Luckily, this whole off the shoulder trend has been a great remedy to my dilemma.
I love that with off the shoulder tops you can still show skin and feel sexy. And yet, you aren’t showing too much. The other great thing about OTS sweaters or tops is that they can be worn with many different types of bottoms. You can pair them with denim, leggings, or skirts. So, it’s a trend that fits into anyone’s wardrobe and works with everyone’s personal style. So, if you’re still needing some last minute holiday attire or you’re already looking to NYE, you can shop my top 12 OTS tops below!
