Dallas Consignment: Patriotic Outfit Inspiration for the 4th of July

4th of july outfits

Hey, babe!

Are you as excited for the 4th of July as I am? Our weekend is shaping up to be a quintessential celebration full of pool time, boat rides, neighborhood parades, and friends! What are our plans for the 4th?

Earlier I posted some outfit options for the 4th of July, and today I’m bringing you even more outfit options. Today’s outfits were all found while shopping consignment at my favorite consignment boutique – Clotheshorse Anonymous.

We have several different 4th of July events were attending and I wanted something new and fun to wear to each. I didn’t however want to spend an arm and a leg on pieces I may only wear a few times so I opted to shop consignment.

Shopping consignment can often feel daunting, but if you follow my tips for shopping consignment, you can’t go wrong! One of my biggest tips for shopping consignment is to know exactly what you’re looking for. In this case, I was looking for red, white, and blue options to create a patriotic outfit.

One of the things I love about the layout of Clothehorse Anonymous is that they always have several racks right up front pertaining to the current season or the latest holiday. This week I saw several patriotic outfits the moment I stepped into the store; they make it so easy to shop!

Patriotic Outfit Inspiration:

1. PARADE OUTFIT – one of the outfits I was looking for was something casual for our neighborhood parade on 4th of July. I wanted a patriotic outfit that would be comfortable and cute. When I walked into Clotheshorse Anonymous I saw this top from Impeccable Pig on a manikin and had to try it on! I styled it with denim cutoffs, but it was styled with red shorts on the manikin and was cute that way, too!

2. COUNTRY CLUB CELEBRATION – if you’re in need of a more polished outfit for the 4th, you can never go wrong with a little white dress (LWD). This Reformation dress is perfect for the 4th or any summer occasion. The linen material springs summer, the bow is right on trend and the strapless top is very flattering.

3. FIREWORKS – I’ve always loved wearing a cute little dress for fireworks and was on a mission to find a dress that would work. I’m not huge on color, but wanted something more than just white. I found this Bardot dress and fell in love with it. I think the tie straps are so fun and feminine and the cutout under the bust is right on trend, too!
