Hey, there! I’m so glad you’re here!
College football is back and I could not be more excited. Some of my favorite moments each fall revolve around tailgate at Baylor. I love getting to spend time with friends, see our kids grow up together with our friends’ kids, and of course cheer our team on!
We’re headed down to Waco this weekend for Baylor’s first home game and I stopped by Clotheshorse Anonymous this week to beef up my game day wardrobe. I’m not a big t-shirt gal, so I was looking for a couple new blouses or sweaters. I try to find tops that I can pair with shorts now and jeans when it cools off.
3 easy college game day outfit ideas:
1. TOP + JEAN SHORTS
The easiest tailgate look might be pairing a top with denim shorts. You can pair your favorite college tee or college color blouse with your go-to cutoffs. I usually opt for green tops because yellow is a hard color. However, I found this Marie Oliver top via consignment and thought the white balanced out the yellow.
2. WESTERN VIBES
Western-inspired looks are still having a moment in the fashion world. Western looks always seem to work well at southern schools, too! So, I styled this western-inspired look all centered around this amazing top from Koch that I found via consignment. I paired it with a fun skirt and my go-to cowboy boots.
3. FALL CLASSIC
One of my favorite fall looks is skinny jeans, booties, and a solid color blouse. This is also one of the easiest game day outfits. Simply grab a solid-color top in your school’s colors. I found this green top by English Factory via consignment and love the smocked detailing. I can’t wait to wear this when temps drop!
