Happy Monday, friends! I hope you’re all having a great start to your week! The girls started dance camp today and thoroughly enjoyed mommy “happy crying.” I thought Abigail would be sad when I dropped her off, but she was eagerly shoving me out the door. It was kind of cute. It was nice to have a morning to run errands alone, too, and check some things off my to-do list!
Although it may not feel like it, Fall is just on the horizon! I honestly love the end-of-summer period because it allows for such fun and freedom with outfit styling. We can start to mix in jeans more and add some fun fabrics into the mix, too!
I got this button down dress ($29) on sale last week from Urban Outfitters and loved the simplicity of it and the big buttons. It really does look precious on it’s own with some flip flops or wedges. But, I wanted to give it more of a street style vibe, so I paired my button down dress with my favorite skinny jeans (under $100). Then, instead of leaving the buttons buttoned, I unbuttoned them up past my waist line. I love the crop top like effect it has while barely showing any of my skin.
This is such a fun way to give your dresses a little more life, too! Instead of just pairing them with a denim jacket or a different pair of shoes, try to think outside the box a little bit. It’s fun!
