Happy Saturday, friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! I’m so glad you’re spending some of your time here today because this post is so incredibly special to me. In reality, any post with my littles is fun, but today I get to share with you guys a family tradition I just started with Emma Grace.
Growing up in Dallas, I grew up with James Avery jewelry. My mom was drawn to the company’s beautiful jewelry, strong Christian beliefs, and she started me on their jewelry early. Specifically, she started a charm bracelet for me. I remember loving each big holiday or each time my parents would travel to another city because that meant I would get a new charm.
I’m not sure if I appreciated it as much as I should then, but I sure do now. About a month ago I pulled my bracelet out of my jewelry box and sat down with Emma Grace to explain to her what each charm meant. It was so neat to get to tell her bits and pieces of my childhood via each charm. My first cat, playing the flute, the state of Missouri for all the summers I got to go to my grandma’s lake house, and so on; it was so neat!The sweetest part though was that Emma Grace loved it too!

I love that we now share charm bracelets and that each of our bracelets tells our individual story.
