Happy Friday, loves! Anybody else as excited for the weekend as we are? Honestly, we feel like our weekend started yesterday as we had our cousin’s rehearsal dinner. Y’all, if you don’t already follow along on instagram, please do! The wedding venue for tonight is on a hill in a beautiful vineyard and it’s breathtaking! The girls will also be at the wedding (Emma Grace is in it), so I’m sure my instagram stories will be quite entertaining tonight!
Speaking of weddings, is anyone else in the midst of wedding season? I have to admit, we kind of fell out of the whole wedding season stage for a bit when all of our friends were having babies. But, we’ve had some this year and it’s been so fun! A couple weekends ago we went to Nashville for a wedding and I wore this jumpsuit to the rehearsal dinner. Jumpsuits are huge right now, so I’ve been having fun wearing them in place of dresses when I can!
So how do you style a jumpsuit? Much like you would a LBD I think! To me there are 3 easy ways to style a jumpsuit. They’re ways that are cost-effective, easy, but make a big impact!
- statement earrings – summer is the perfect time for a bold earring! The $12 hoops in today’s look make a great statement and go with a lot! These tassel earrings and these sequin drop earrings make for some fun statements, too!
- statement bag – clutches are almost always my go-to, but a fun bag can be a great conversation starter and really turn some heads. I love this little sphere bag and have had it for over a year! This colored bamboo square clutch is also fab for summer and needs to be in everyone’s closet.
- a bold shoe – break up the monochromatic feel of a jumpsuit and add a pop of color or a flashy shoe for a fun statement. These pink heels (under $100) are a great go-to. I love these floral pumps, and you can never go wrong with leopard print.
