Let’s celebrate our moms!
Years ago a dear friend shared the neatest idea in regards to celebrating others. Any time it was someone’s birthday or a special occasion, she would share one reason she was celebrating that person. It was always so intentional and endearing, and I quickly adopted the tradition. This year for Mother’s Day, I have been spending time meditating on why I am joyfully celebrating my mom.
This year, amongst all the craziness of our world, I am celebrating my mom for being my constant. She is strong, selfless, a hard worker, and there for me for every single moment – hard or easy, big or small. She has been my best friend since day one and I truly cannot imagine doing life without her. This year, I wanted to get her a piece (or two) of jewelry that matched the reason I am celebrating her.
