That’s right, you need these leggings. Today we’re gonna chat about one of my favorite things to wear right now – leather leggings. We are officially in Fall and Dallas is finally getting some real Fall weather. To me, there are some key aspects of Fall and they include the following – pumpkin everything, fall candles, sweaters, black leggings, and crockpot recipes. And today we’re digging deeper into one of my favorites – leather leggings! I’ll be sharing one of my new favorite crockpot recipes later this week, so stay tuned!!
So, about leather leggings…I feel like every girl needs two good pairs of leggings to get her through Fall/Winter. These should be leggings that can be worn with multiple outfits and worn frequently. One pair should be a standard pair of black leggings. This option will work well for casual looks. The other pair should be leather leggings. I’ll admit, it’s hard to find a good pair of leather leggings. Usually you’ll find a pair that looks chic, but isn’t comfortable at all. Now if you’re not comfortable wearing full on leather leggings, no worries! Leggings that simply have leather detailing are just as great, and today’s pair is for all of us!
Y’all, I wish you could reach through your computer/phone screen and feel these leggings. They are more than amazing and you all need a pair. First off, they’re super flattering. On all figures. They have a thicker waist band that sucks in your midsection (thank you – love, my post baby body), and they’re made of a thick material that sucks you in. Also, a thicker material means it’s not see through. Check. Additionally, the leather detailing is only a panel on each leg. This is great because it makes a statement, but doesn’t show any of our cellulite flaws. What I like about only having a leather panel as opposed to them being full on leather is that it makes them a bit more casual. The more casual feel lends itself to more outfit options – breezy blouses, faux fur vests, oversized sweaters, white tees, take your pick.
For today’s post, I paired these leggings from LOFT with a fun sweatshirt. I like that the tie back detail of this sweatshirt makes it acceptable to wear on date night. I styled this look with heels because this 5’2″ figure needs all the height help it can get. However, this same outfit would look just as cute with sneakers.
