Good morning and happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We kicked off my hubby’s birthday week by celebrating his 30th (and a couple other birthdays) on lake LBJ with some friends. I can’t tell you how nice it was to have a short getaway sans babies, but man, we really missed our girls!!

We’re so glad to be back at home with our little ladies and us Cobbs girls are through the roof excited that we get to celebrate Travis today on his birthday. Emma associates birthdays with cake (who wouldn’t) and so we’ve been talking about what kind of cake to get Trav. Emma is set on a pink cake because she says that’s daddy’s favorite color…sorry, Trav. 😉

Anyway, if you’ve been following me for some time then you know that two of my biggest fashion “rules” are to 1) buy things on sale and 2) invest in pieces that you can wear more than once, and the top in today’s post fits both of my criteria!

Vintage style – think feminine details and cuts like scalloped hems, and lace are some of the biggest trends this season and this top just screams femininity. I found this top at Forever 21 a couple of weeks ago (for under $25) and knew I’d be able to style it multiple ways. I gave it a 70s feel by styling it with flare jeans and a straw tote in today’s post, but I plan on wearing it tonight with a white skirt for Trav’s birthday dinner, and then with denim shorts when the temps get a little warmer.

I’m so bummed that this top is sold out online now, but I’ve linked some similar ones below and almost all of them are under $30!

Thanks for reading!!
