Do you ever have one of those days where you just go, go, go and then when you look up at the clock it’s almost dinner time? Yep, that’s been one of those days for me. I had every intention of doing the finishing touches on this post before my girls got up this morning, but apparently I got a bit distracted by my other to-do items.

Anyway, today’s post is all about how to dress trendy in the working world! As a speech therapist, blogger, and mother, my “work uniform” typically ranges from scrubs to a feminine dress to jeans, a neutral top, and flats. But, I know that I am in the minority and that many of you have an office job that requires you to dress business casual.

My first job after college was a paralegal for a personal injury firm, so I can relate to the outfit struggle in some capacity. I mean, it really can be tough to dress trendy and appropriate and dress in a way that you will be taken seriously. Banana Republic was and still is a great place to turn to for business casual that is right on trend, and their new line is simply amazing.

Their bold floral print is one of my favorites for spring and they’ve created this print in styles that can resonate with each individual woman’s style in the form of a pencil skirt, slim pants, a blouse, a pleated skirt, and a scarf for those women that would prefer to wear a solid color and accent with a print. I love that all of these items can easily transition from the office to dinner with friends simply by changing your blouse or shoes!
