Happy Monday, guys!! I hope you all had a great weekend! We had such a blast these past couple of days with a jam-packed schedule. If you follow along via instagram, then you know what I mean. We had birthday parties, we visited Santa, Emma Grace had her ballet performance at Santa’s Village, and my sister, husband and I ran a half marathon on Sunday. And to top it all off, my parents came in town to be a part of it all, which was so special. Y’all, we even had a bit of cold winter weather! It may be a high of 77 in Dallas today, but at least we had a taste of winter weather over the weekend. I don’t know what it is about cold weather making everything feel more special during the holiday season.
Speaking of cold weather, all of us girls were in dire need of winter boots this year. We have boots and booties, but they are the cute kind that are suitable for Dallas temps. However, we needed some winter boots that would hold up in the snow when we traveled to Chicago. So, we turned to one of our favorite places to get boots – Kamik! Our first experience with Kamik boots was this summer. We all three got the cutest rain boots! In fact, Abby puts her rain boots on almost every day when she gets home. It’s the cutest thing. What I love about mine is that they’re practical, but still have a trendy, chic look. They are also super easy to put on because there’s a zipper on the back that makes them easy to slip on and off. The girls loved theirs too – obviously they had to have some pink accents, but they think the fur is fun and fancy, too!
