Happy Sunday, friends! Can you believe this awesome weather we’ve been having here in Dallas? If you’re not familiar with Dallas temps, we’re usually still in the high 90s in the beginning of September. However, we’ve been having highs in the low 80s. It’s amazing! Navigating the always changing Texas temperatures isn’t always easy fashion-wise though. So lately I’ve been looking to add some versatile jumpsuits and rompers into my wardrobe.
I am a big fan of rompers and jumpsuits because of the ease of wearing them. They’re like dresses – all you have to do is throw and go. Jumpsuits are a nice departure from dresses, too, when you need a little something different. The other thing I love about jumpsuits is how versatile they are – truly! When you are transitioning your wardrobe from Summer to Fall, look for jumpsuits that are comfortable in warmer temps. For example, this versatile jumpsuit has thin, breezy legs and a fun cross-strap back. It’s great for a warm Dallas day!
Then as temperatures start to cool off, all you have to do is add a denim jacket or faux leather jacket and you’ve created a whole new look! If white isn’t your thing, this jumpsuit comes in emerald green, yellow, and navy, too! And if you’re more of a romper girl, check out this pink lace romper I wore last week. I posted it on instagram and it was a big favorite. It’s a great statement piece alone, but will look super cute with a black leather jacket in the Fall and black booties.
If you’re new to wearing jumpsuits, don’t be nervous! They can seem daunting at first, but they’re really so fun and easy once you find the right fit for your body. If you need a little more inspiration, check out some of my previous posts featuring versatile jumpsuits: stripe jumpsuit, floral jumpsuit (from the first year I blogged!), white jumpsuit. For romper inspiration, check out these: gingham romper, blush pink over-the-shoulder romper, and my favorite white cape romper (still in stock).
