Hi, babes! Last week I took a poll on instagram to see what kinds of topics you all wanted me to cover more of in 2020 and one of the overwhelming responses was family/parenting. I am for sure no expert at family advice, but I am happy to share what does/doesn’t work for my family. I’m going to start sharing small parenting hacks like today’s jewel of a find for detangling hair as well as what books we’re reading, activities, we do at home, etc.! Today’s parenting post is directed mainly at girl moms, but the product can most definitely benefit adult women, too, or boys with longer hair! If you have girls then you know the hell it can be to comb out your daughter’s hair. We seemed to have mastered detangling wet hair by using this oil, but it’s trying to untangle their dry hair that is such a struggle. Both of my girls have really sensitive heads, so they cry and get so frustrated with me when I try and detangle their hair. I’ve tried to get them to use phrases like “be careful, mama” instead of screaming at me, but it’s still a battle nonetheless.
Well, a couple weeks back I was organizing my bathroom and I stumbled upon this product. I had received this dry conditioning spray in a PR package last year and honestly never thought I would have a personal use for it. Then it dawned on me that I should try it on my girls. Y’all, game. Changer.
This product is one I will always keep in my girls’ bathroom and one I would pay a pretty penny for. It is so worth it! It’s so easy to use, too. You simply spray it on their hair (from 8-10 inches back) all over, even underneath, and then gently brush through. It will cut your detangling process in time by at least 75% and I promise your girls won’t shed a single tear! I don’t think a day goes by that we don’t use this product.
