You can never go wrong with basics for Spring and these are my favorites! A white tee, jeans, and a belt are classic pieces to have! I picked up this white blouse (size down one) from LOFT the other day and think it’s a great neutral piece for this transitional period right now. I love the simple scallop eyelet detail on the bust and the mini opening in the back that gives just a peek of your skin.
These jeans (fit TTS) have quickly become my favorite ripped denim. They are currently on major sale (under $40) and fit like a dream. They are high waisted (hello hiding mom pooch) and are a great length. They also have a bit of stretch in them so they move really well. I paired these two Spring basics with a belt. Yes, I said a belt. If you haven’t caught on yet, belts are back! We’re seeing a lot of classic belts right now – brown and black – looped through the belt loops. This brown belt is super classic and a great belt to have because it will go with almost anything!
Lastly, I kept my accessories neutral. I think it’s great to have one neutral tote and you use for Spring. I do love to carry clutches, but totes tend to be more practical for the daytime. This Marc Jacobs bag from Nordstrom Rack is a great, affordable designer option. It’s 51% off right now and a it’s a great sturdy, go-with-everything bag!
Lastly, I finished this look with my new favorite mules. My favorite pair of mules last year were from Everlane, so naturally I couldn’t resist another pair from them for this year. This specific mule is the perfect neutral in my mind. It is a great color and goes with everything. My favorite part about this shoe though is how comfortable it is. Everlane shoes are so well-made and break in easily. I highly, highly recommend their shoes. I can already tell you I will be wearing these all Spring and Summer long!
