Good morning, guys!!! Is anyone burnt out on shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or are you still going at it? I got some amazing finds, but think I may go back for round 2… Just a side note – be sure to constantly be checking my “shop” page on the top menu option of my blog because I will frequently be updating the best, in-stock items of the #nsale.
Onto today’s post though – I dare say it’s not from the Anniversary Sale, but it’s from Nordstrom Rack and the prices in today’s outfit are almost too good to be true. This $24 top from Lush is a great summer go-to. I am wearing my normal size – small, because I wanted it a bit loose, but if you want a tighter look you could definitely size down one. I found this pair of cropped denim ($34) while in Nordstrom Rack, too, and love how they fit. I normally steer away from cropped denim because I’m so short, but because this pair is form fitting all the way to the bottom I think it works. Adding a heel for some length would also help my situation out, but for some reason I just love wearing flats – especially ones with ruffles, in the summer; they’re so much easier!
To finish off today’s summery look, I added this adorable basket bag from guess where? World Market of all places! I was in WM the other day buying little cocktail glasses for limoncello (still living that Italy dream), and this precious pom pom bag caught my eye. Because it’s so hot in Dallas for so long, I know I’ll get to carry this guy a lot whether it’s with an outfit or doubling as my pool bag. The “basket bag” is a big trend this summer and definitely one you can make your own. Whether you like pom poms and tassels or a more simple black and white look, it’s easy to find one that fits your style. I listed my favorite below – some under $50 and some a bit more.
