Happy hump day, loves! I apologize for taking a bit to get this post out today. I had every intention of getting up early and working on this, but made a last minute decision to go to pilates with a friend. I’ve started going to Beyond Studios lately and I have become super obsessed. Anyway, today’s post is all about 2 of Fall’s trends for 2016 – the cut out shoulder and metal details.
I think the cut out shoulder trend is one that is super easy to adapt to your personal style and your lifestyle. If you have more of a casual style, you can look for a casual shirt that has a cut out detail. If your job requires you to dress professionally, you can opt for a work appropriate option like this Eliza J dress. If you have a lot of formal events or weddings this coming season, look for a dress that has a little more pizzaz like this black lace dress.
As far as the metal details trend goes, I was a little hesitant with this one. I don’t typically wear a lot of big or loud accessories, so I wasn’t quite sure if I could swing this trend. After some hunting though, I found this adorable bow belt (for only $30). the bow makes it feminine and the metal is only in the front of the belt making it a small, dainty detail – right up my alley! I know I preach this all the time, but I truly think women look the best when they adapt trends to fit their style. You can do it!!
