Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We were lucky enough to be in town again and spent the weekend doing house chores, decorating for Fall, and starting to prep for Abby’s 1st birthday! I seriously cannot believe my baby is almost 1 year old. I may or may not have cried packing up some of her baby clothes yesterday…
How cute is this dress, though? The print is so fun and the embroidery is right on trend for the Fall season. What originally drew me to this dress was thinking how cute it would look with a pair of brown booties (these are under $70!). But, it’s still a little too hot here in Dallas to wear booties all day, so I decided to pair them with these adorable lace-up flats and a matching bag – anyone else love this jewel tone as much as I do?
I do want to note that this dress runs a little small in the bust area, so if you are a bit busty, I would go one size up. I went a size up and it was perfect! Also, I’m 5’2″, so if you’re a bit taller than I am, I would wear this dress as a tunic with some cute distressed skinny jeans, booties, and a thin belt!
