My Top Dresses You Can Wear Now Or In The Fall

Happy Monday, loves, and happy Prime Day!! Prime Day kicks off at 2PM CST today, but you can already see some of the deals that will be part of the sale. Two of our most used electronics are already part of the sale – the Echo (aka ALEXA) and the Echo Dot. You guys, the Echo Dot is especially a good deal at only $29!! We have the Echo in our kitchen and the Echo Dot in our bedroom. We use the Echo a lot while cooking to set timers and play music. We use the Echo Dot for our daily news updates, to get the weather, and for music as well. Trust me when I say Alexa is life changing!

PS – there is a new shop tab on my blog just for Prime Day, so be sure to check back from time to time today as deals are released!

I hope you’re all having a great start to your week! We’re in Chicago visiting my parents an we’re about to drive up north to their Wisconsin lake house. Y’all, the high here all week is 80 degrees! We’re freaking out because my husband (who is still in Dallas) said it will get up to 107 this week in Dallas! Crazy!

Experiencing some cooler temps up North accompanied with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has me thinking about dresses for Fall! The transitional period from Summer to Fall is one of my favorite times to dress! It’s also a time when you don’t really need to buy a lot of clothes; it’s easy to work with what you have.

My favorite way to dress in this transitional period is by styling summer dresses for cooler temps. So, if you’re buying dresses right now, make sure they can be worn now and later. For example, I styled this dress today for summer – with open-toe sandals and a neutral clutch. But, when temps drop, I can pair it with booties and a leather jacket!
