One of my absolute favorite trends this summer has been matching separates. However, due to my ever-growing belly, that has been one trend I have had to steer clear of. Bummer. That is, until I found this adorable matching tropical print short set at GAP in the maternity section. I was out a couple of weeks ago shopping for baby #2 when GAP was having a big sale and couldn’t resist checking out what they had for preggie ladies. I set eyes on this matching set and was in the dressing room trying it on in less than 2 minutes. Tropical print is big this summer too, so this was a double win. Okay, so one last reason why I love matching sets is that you don’t have to wear the two pieces together. I’ve already worn this top with black jeans and plan to wear these shorts with a thin neutral sweater as we get closer to fall!
style tip: the sizing is fairly accurate but I went up a size in the top (b/c of boobs) and bottoms (for comfort…there’s a draw string to hold them up)
