If you know me at all, then you know I’m an open book. I wear my feelings and emotions on my sleeve and I will talk to anyone anywhere. Just like my personality, there are no guesses as to my favorite wardrobe staples.
One look in my closet and you will notice two major themes: tons of dresses and stacks and stacks of black skinny jeans and black leggings. I am making a promise to myself to try some flare jeans this season, but I just can’t help how easy it is to put together a look with leggings. I mean, they are so darn comfortable, super flattering, and easy to layer over. What’s not to love?
This Loft cardigan is right on trend with it’s emerald green color and it’s long length. I mean, I can just feel women rejoicing everywhere that long cardigans are on trend this season because it is such a stylish way to cover your bum if you’re a little insecure about that area. 😉
I paired this long cardigan with a dotted blouse. I love the french cuffs on this top for the multiple ways you can wear them – wear them down or fold them back over your sweater. Two looks in one? I’ll take it.
Besides loving the color and length of this cardigan, it is the perfect alternative to a jacket in warmer climates (can it get cooler in Texas, please?), but thin enough to layer under a jacket in colder climates.
And maybe my favorite part of the outfit…my bag. Oops, I meant diaper bag. I love that this bag is simple enough that I can carry my diaper bag as a tote on those days where I just need about 100 things with me at all times.
