Good morning and happy Hump Day!! How are y’all doing this morning? I honestly cannot believe it’s already midweek. As always, I thought this week would be event-free, but it’s been crazy as usual, haha. Maybe I should just accept that this stage in life with little ones will just be a little nutzo. I did just get the book Choose Joy and am hoping it gives me some good tips on staying joyful throughout this crazy period in life. Have any of you guys read it? I’d love to know how you liked it if you did read it!
Alright y’all, how cute are these overalls? I picked them up from Nordstrom a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t wait to style them. I will admit that I have a pair of white overalls from last summer, but as far as regular denim overalls, I just don’t think I’m “cool” enough to pull them off. This blush pink pair though just falls right into my wheelhouse. I of course had to add a bit more femininity so I opted to pair my overalls with a floral bardot top – gotta stay cool as best you can when you’re layering in Dallas, TX because it’s HOT!
I then added a bit more femininity by styling this look with my favorite mules right now – I mean, how cute are these ruffle mules and they’re only $30!!! My point with adding all this femininity to this pair of overalls is that you can so easily take one piece of clothing and adjust it to your personal style. If you’re still drawing a blank on how to style these, check out some of my tips below – you can get so much use out of overalls!
HOW TO STYLE OVERALLS:
- POLISHED – Pair with heels/mules for a more polished look – see pictures above and below
- CASUAL – Simply layer these overalls over a tee like this Lush tee from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and some flats like these $150 Tory Burch flats from the #nsale.
- TRANSITIONAL – layer your overalls over a turtleneck or thin sweater to transition them into the Fall season.
- SPORTY – pair with a tank and some cute Adidas shoes.
