I believe that one of the most important things about fashion is learning which trends you can wear, which trends you should shy away from, and how to adjust trends to fit your figure. As stated in a previous post, I think crop tops are so fun, but I don’t feel comfortable showing my bare skin. I was able to tweak this trend to fit my body and style with this sheer crop top. The pastel, floral pattern is big this spring, and the sheer fabric gives the illusion of a crop top, but still covers my stomach.
As seen here, all variations of the cropped pant are in style this season. I love the way cropped pants look, but I struggle with this trend as I have long legs and a short torso. So, I found a happy medium – these Old Navy pants hit slightly higher than my ankle, but aren’t a full capri-length pant.
