Dallas Consignment:3 Affordable Looks For The Beach

beach vacation outfits

Hey, babe!

Summer has officially begun! I am beyond excited to have my girls home for a couple of months. We are planning on spending as much time outdoors or by the pool as we possible can!

In addition to spending our days at our neighborhood pool, we’ve planning a couple of family trips, too! Our first big trip is just 3 weeks away! We are Mexico-bound with our girls and truly cannot wait to be at the beach with them.

Being the type-A packer that I am, I’ve already started laying out clothes for each of us girls for our trip. I like to see what I’m missing and what still needs to be purchased; things like bathing suits or sunscreen or even a new pair of sandals for the girls.

Truth be told, I feel like I’ve been so focused on prepping the girls that I haven’t spent much time on myself. For the most part, I have almost everything I need – swim suits, day dresses, etc. But, I did want to grab a new coverup or two and maybe a new dress for dinner in the evening.

So while I was out running errands last week I stopped by Clotheshorse Anonymous to see what I could find. Y’all, they had so much out for summer! I know I’ve said this before, but their store is laid out so well. It’s organized by type of clothing (skirt, dress, tops, etc.), by category (summer, fitness, etc.), and by brand (Tory Burch, Lululemon etc.), so it’s super easy to look for specific pieces.

I started out in the sundress section and lucked out right away! The first thing that caught my eye was an orange coverup sundress from JCrew. I’m normally not a bright color gal, but I saw a friend in this coverup sundress several weeks prior and it was just precious on her. I couldn’t find it in store, but lucky for me, Clotheshorse Anonymous had the exact one I wanted and in my size! I grabbed it right away and cannot wait to wear it as a coverup this summer!

The next piece that caught my eye was this eyelet coverup from Carbon38. It was white, eyelet, feminine, and still had the tags on it! I think kimonos and wraps make for the best coverups, so I grabbed this piece, too!

Just as I was about to move on to workout clothes, I spotted this cute mini dress. I loved the color and the floral pattern is very trendy right now. I was shocked to see that this Reformation dress, too, still had the tags on it; lucky me! Everything fit so well and all together was under $175! How crazy, right? I mean the Reformation dress alone would cost around $175 and I got 3 new pieces for the price of one.

I’m telling y’all, if you live in Dallas you have GOT to check out Clotheshorse Anonymous for your next vacation. Their online site is good too if you live further away! Either way though, always remember to shop consignment first – you’ll find amazing pieces and save money doing so!
