Today’s post is very fitting for today as it’s supposed to be quite rainy here in Dallas. I was gifted these bright rain boots and animal print umbrella for Christmas and have been itching to use them!
Over the past couple of years I’ve realized that having bright colored boots and a fun umbrella really can brighten a rainy day!
I definitely love my hunter rain boots, but I’ve been gravitating toward the ankle rain boots lately. I love that they look more like a booty than a pair of galoshes, and they are so much easier to slip on and off! You can also style them by tucking your leggings into the boots or tuck your boots into your pants – something that’s slightly harder with tall rain boots.
style tip: if buying boots in a bold color like yellow makes you nervous, go for a print like leopard that still gives a statement, but is more subtle in color
