Happy Hump Day, friends! I’m counting down the days until the end of the week because we have a cool front coming through and will finally have a forecast that’s not in the 90s. Yes, it’s still in the 90s here in Dallas. In fact, when my hubby walked outside this morning he said it felt like a muggy summer morning.
Even though it may not feel like Fall outside, it definitely does inside our home! We put up our Fall decorations weeks ago, have been making anything and everything pumpkin flavored, and have started beefing up our sweater game.
One of the places I go to each year for sweaters is Anthropologie. They always have sweaters that are well-made, on trend, and can be worn year after year. Some of my favorites are this poppy tunic ($118), this blush pullover ($88), this black and white duster (on sale for $99), and of course the dress in this post, which comes in black, too!
Besides being comfortable, the way this dress is cut is flattering for all figures – tall, short, slender, hourglass, pear shape, you name it! The bell sleeves are definitely a big trend this season and the lace detail on the bust adds a feminine touch. This is definitely not your typical sweater dress, but it’s one that can be worn over and over! I worn it a couple weeks ago when it was cool here for a couple of days and I can’t wait for temps to drop again so I can wear it with booties!
