The 3 Make-up Hacks That Will Save You Money

The threeMake-up can be expensive and timely. These 3 make-up hacks though will save you money and save you time when you get ready.elf cosmetic products every girl needs.

Happy Friday, friends! Are you as happy as I am that it’s finally the weekend? We don’t really have anything special planned for our weekend, but it just feels good to just exhale. Even though we don’t have anything fancy planned, we have a pretty packed Saturday. From volunteering to soccer games to helping my sister move. It’s gonna be a lot, but super fun.

As my girls get older I’m finding out that my days look more and more like this – lots of moving parts and lots of different hat wearing. Because of this, I have been on the hunt for as many beauty hacks as I can find. Anything to help me put on and take off my make-up faster is of high value for this mama.

Before I begin though, I want to give a shout out to those of you that are part of my Fleurdille Family Facebook group. It’s a group I created a couple of months back for girl chat essentially and it’s been so helpful. Awhile ago we were posting about beauty hacks and one of them mentioned the eye liner hack that I’ll be sharing with you today. So thank you Fleurdille Family! Y’all are the best!

Let’s get to the good stuff. My 3 beauty hacks are actually all e.l.f. cosmetics products. And no, this is not a sponsored post. From time to time I try a new e.l.f. product because they’re all so dang cheap. They’re also available at Target and I practically live here, so it’s easy. I’m not going to sit here and tell you that all of their products are amazing, because I don’t think they are. I haven’t really had the best lucks with their lipsticks. However, the 3 products I’m sharing today are products I really do stand behind.

3 BEAUTY HACKS

  1. Make-up Remover Gentle Cleansing Cloths – Y’all. These cloths are so good. I even have my mom hooked now. For me, the test of a good make-up remover cloth is how well it can take off my eye make-up. I want it to take it off easily without me having to rub it hard. I also don’t want the cloth to sting or irritate my eye. And finally, I don’t want to spend a fortune on them. These do it all and they’re only $3. I usually keep a pack by my bed so that if I’m super beat I still get my make-up off before falling asleep.
  2. Expert Eyeliner – I was super hesitant to try their eyeliner because I have been a loyal user of Lancome’s artliner (still obsessed btw). But, I was finding it hard to spend $30 on eyeliner. Then, one of you told me to try the elf liquid eyeliner. I did and I loved it. It took me a little while to get the hang of a brush and not a felt tip, but it’s pretty easy. What I love about this one is that you only need one coat and it stays on all day. And at only $2 you really can’t beat that.
  3. Clay Eyeshadow Palette – This is my go-to, everyday eyeshadow. It is such a good neutral palette and works for almost every skin tone. I also love that it stays on so well. I put this on every morning and it still looks perfect by the end of the day. This eyeshadow friends is $6 well spent.

If you have any beauty hacks, leave them in the comments below because we could all benefit! Love y’all’s feedback!
