Hi, babes! Memorial Day weekend a.k.a. the kickoff to summer is almost here! We are counting down the days until we can spend every waking hour by the pool. But today is not about pool looks. Rather, we’re chatting about the one type of material that immediately comes to mind when I think summer wear – eyelet!
I’ve been on a kick lately with eyelet dresses (all under $100 of course!) and I decided to share with you all my top 3. These are dresses that I’ve been wearing a lot already. They’re all well-made, affordable, and most importantly, comfortable. Each of them has a slightly different look and each of them can be worn time and time again and styled so many different ways. The great thing about a white eyelet dress is that it acts like a blank canvas; you can style them with any type and color of accessory. My go-to accessories to pair with an eyelet dress are colorful bags or straw bags. Do you have a go-to?
dress #1: embroidered eyelet maxi dress – $62
dress: chicwish c/o | bag: etienne aigner | shoes: steven (similar for $20) | sunnies: karen walker
Y’all, how stinking cute is this dress? It may be my favorite! I love the feminine ruffles sleeve and how dainty it makes your top half look. I also love the twist detail in the bodice. If you’re wondering if it’s see through, it’s not. This dress is double lined so you have nothing to worry about! It also comes in a gorgeous blush color and a yellow as well.
dress #2: eyelet maxi dress – $72
dress: chicwish c/o | bag: accessory concierge c/o | shoes: steven (similar for $20) | sunnies: karen walker
This dress has quickly become my go-to dress when I’m running around with my girls. It’s long enough that I don’t have to worry about flashing anyone and it’s double lined as well. I love that it doesn’t show any cleavage and hangs loosely on you. It’s the perfect day dress! It also comes in a gorgeous yellow color and to be honest, I’ve gotten more compliments on the yellow than the white. Yes, I do own it in both colors…
dress #3: smocked eyelet maxi dress – $72
dress: morning lavender c/o | shoes: etienne aigner (ON SALE) c/o | bag: target | sunnies: karen walker
Is this dress not the cutest? I love the tie straps and think they add such a fun detail to the dress. I also love the scalloped hem and the smocked bodice. This dress definitely gives off feminine vibes and can easily be dressed up or down. I styled this dress with my new favorite tote (only $26) for a vibrant, summer look.
