Hey guys!! It feels like it’s been so long since I’ve been all present in this little space of the world. If you follow me on instagram then you are probably aware that I was in Italy for 10 days with my husband and his family. But, we are finally back home and cherishing every single second with our girls. We’re also adjusting to that oh-so-fun jet lag…

Before we left I did a post on how to pack in a carry-on when traveling abroad. It was a task I didn’t think I could achieve, but now that I’m on the other end of our trip, I can say that I successfully packed in a carry-on bag for the whole trip. In fact, I over-packed in my carry-on. Super shocking, right? You can read all my tips here and see which bags I used to help me maximize space!

I will eventually be doing a couple of posts on our trip including a detailed itinerary for traveling through Tuscany, but for today, we’ll just be talking outfits. If you’re traveling during the summer months, then I have the perfect wardrobe capsule for you. If you’re traveling during the spring or fall, I would simple add a jacket or two to your outfits.

For our trip I had my staple accessories that I wore with every outfit to help me cut down on space like my Elaine Turner crossbody bag, my Tory Burch sandals and these white sandals, as well as a straw hat. I went with neutral colors to ensure they would go with every outfit I packed. Then as far as my outfits go, I had two main categories – breezy dresses for the hotter days, and jeans with a top for the cooler days we had. I have linked all of my looks below for you guys and they range in price from under $50 to a bit over $100. I typically keep my outfits under $100, but splurged on a couple items for this trip. 🙂 Let me know what your favorites are!!

STYLE TIP: So many people told me to bring a cute pair of tennis shoes, and while I did that, my most comfortable shoes ended up being the sandals. I wasn’t expecting this, but both of the sandals I brought were comfortable, didn’t give me blisters, and held up on the days we walked a lot more like the day we hit over 15,000 steps in Florence. Just thought this may interest some of you!
