The Wristlet Bag – Staying on Trend with Consignment

Happy Tuesday, friends! We’re taking a slight departure from our normal Tiny Tuesday post to talk about this cute little wristlet bag. So cute, right? Lately, I’ve been eyeing this black wristlet bag from Loeffler Randall, but I can’t seem to justify spending $400 to have it. As fate would have it though, this was the first bag I set eyes on when I walked into Clotheshorse Anonymous a couple of weeks ago.

For anyone that is new to Fleurdille, Clotheshorse Anonymous is the best consignment store here in the Dallas area. They get hundreds of new items by the day and everything they put out is either new with tags or in mint condition. Shopping bags via consignment is one of the best things to shop for because you can get some fabulous deals.

They key to finding designer bags via consignment is perseverance. Designer bags go quickly, so you just have to be persistent. Know what’s on trend and what you’re looking for and check in frequently. The reason you need to check frequently (and have a bit of patience) is because designer bags tend to fly off the shelf the day they are put out.

I had been in the market for a small bag for some time, and when I saw that this Loeffler Randall one it was an easy decision. It was almost identical to the shape and color I had been eyeing from Net-A-Porter, I snagged it. This goes for all designers – if you see what you want in great condition, grab it and go! But if you’re looking for something super specific, it may take time and patience. For example, I’m looking for a vintage Chanel pearl pin, and could be checking for months or years before finding it! It’s always worth it though because you’re saving a ton of money!
