Happy Monday!!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!! If you follow me on snapchat (fleurdille) or isntastories, then you probably got to see that Emma Grace and I attended our first 5 year old birthday party at Sweet & Sassy. It was honestly so cute. Emma Grace was in complete heaven. She got to wear a princess costume (she was Aurora), get her hair, make-up, and nails done, have a dance party, and walk in a princess fashion show. Does it get any better than that for a 3 year old?
Onto today’s look though. Winter white is one of my favorite colors to wear in the Fall and Winter. There’s just something so refreshing about it and I think it just brightens your skin tone. In today’s outfit I decided to give my white on white look a little character by mixing several textures.
If you look closely, this top is has a blossom print on it that’s subtle, but helps it stand apart from your classic white button down. I paired them with a pair of cords, too, for some added texture. Can we talk about cords for a minute? I used to wear them all the time, but haven’t worn them in years. I stumbled across this pair ($20 off today!) from LOFT a while back and really liked how they fit me, so I decided to welcome them back into my wardrobe. They’re a nice alternative to jeans in my opinion. Do you guys wear cords still?
PS – Did you catch last week’s most popular post? It was all about my favorite subscription service that lets you wear designer sunglasses for only $24/month!! You can check it out here.
NOVEMBER 7TH: Today I am thankful for food. That sounds pretty boring I guess, but it’s true. I decided to go back to eating clean this morning and am just so thankful that I am in a position where I can make a choice to eat well and to spend a little more on organic food and local meat.
