Winter Neutrals for Toddlers

IMG_9529

I swear, there are some days that I wish they made Emma’s clothes in my size. Today Emma is wearing a layered look with this GAP shirt and is staying right on trend by pairing it with her winter white jeans & grey sneakers. From a practical standpoint, my friend and I agreed that this type of shirt with extra length is becoming a wardrobe necessity for our growing girls as it actually comes down long enough to cover our girls’ diapers peeping out of their pants.

I want to take a second too, to chat about the location of theses photos. Since the weather is still oh-s0-cold here in Dallas, I have been searching high and low for indoor activities for Emma that are free. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before since we go to this Church, but Watermark Community Church has a fabulous wooden play fort! It’s divided into two sections – one smaller fort for toddlers and one much larger fort for ages 3+. We’ve gone a couple of times in the past few weeks and each time it’s been packed with moms and dads on play dates with their little ones! It’s fun, safe, and free, and I highly encourage you to try it out if you live in Dallas. After all, more running = longer naps…right?

And after a long morning of playing, you hope this is the end result… (can you tell I have a ham on my hands?)
