Happy Thursday, loves! I hope you’ve all had a great week so far! I’m typically super happy on Thursdays because that’s the end of my “work” week, but I feel especially happy today knowing all the celebration that’s to come for our family starting next week. This coming weekend we kick off our celebrations by celebrating the life of Travis’s grandmother, Peg. Then next week Emma Grace participates in her first dance camp, has a birthday on Wednesday, and then we head to NOLA and the beach that following weekend. Wahoo!!!
If you know me, then you wouldn’t be shocked to know what I’ve already started packing for the beach. Of course my wardrobe consists of bathing suits, white dresses, floppy hats, and the romper from today’s post. I picked up this romper a couple of weeks ago from Nordstrom because I fell in love with the pattern. Once I tried it on though, I realized that this is the perfect romper for every single body type. Why? Because of the way it’s cut, it automatically gives you a smaller waistline and an hourglass figure. My stomach has been my “problem” area lately and the last place to lose my remaining baby weight, so I rarely buy things that are form fitting. However, you can’t tell at all with this romper on, can you? Illusions can be a beautiful thing!
Now, if you are a little chesty like me, you’re probably thinking, oh, great, another romper that I can’t wear because you can’t wear a bra with this romper. False! The way the romper crosses in the back is high enough to wear a strapless bra or a bandeau. Yay!
In light of the mega Anniversary Sale that’s taking place at Nordstrom, I also linked some of my summer favorites that are currently part of the sale. Happy shopping!
