After-Christmas Sales: What I’m Eyeing for the New Year

The new year always makes me want to refresh—without rushing. Refresh my closet, refresh my goals, refresh my home. Lately, I’ve been bookmarking pieces that feel classic, cozy, and useful, and after-Christmas sales feel like the perfect time to invest thoughtfully. Sharing a few things currently on my radar below.

Things I’ll be Shopping For During After Christmas Sales

  • I am a sucker for dainty jewelry – dainty rings, dainty necklaces, you name it! I plan to invest in a few more pieces – specifically, I am looking for some stackable rings and maybe a simple necklace I can layer with throughout the year with trendier pieces.
  • Over the past few years I’ve really been trying to invest in some nicer ski jackets and ski suits. I am currently eyeing this jacket and this jacket. They both feel fun and playful!!
  • I don’t know about you, but I’ve been using my same conair curling iron model for decades. It absolutely does the trick and I love the affordable price tag, but I have recently felt like I need to invest in a curling iron that will be gentler on my hair. I’m hoping this one goes on sale!
  • One thing I know about myself is that I LOVE sweatsuits. As soon as my work day is done and my social obligations are complete, I instantly change into comfies. Knowing how much I wear comfy clothes at home makes investing in some nicer sweatsuits seem practical. I’m currently eyeing this sweatshirt with matching sweatpants and waiting for this one to come back in stock.
  • This blanket is an investment, but I use it every single night when I sleep and my girls are constantly stealing it from my room. It is lightly weighted and maybe the softest things you’ll ever put on your body. I would love to have another one in our home to keep in our living room!
  • Okay, hear me out on this – I love a good DECAF espresso martini. But, hardly any restaurant makes decaf martinis. One of my goals in 2026 is to learn how to make a good, decaf espresso martini from home. And to make it, I think the easiest solution would be to have one of these (crossing my fingers it goes on sale!).
  • One of my home goals this year is to update our master bathroom. Right now it feels barren and it’s the paint color that was there when we bought our home a couple of years ago. I think the main furniture piece I’d like to add to it is this to hang above our toilet.
  • Y’all, I have not shopped at this retailer for bags in years, but they have some seriously cute bags out right now! I’m currently eyeing this one and this one.
  • Getting back into pilates is one of my goals for 2026. After my wrist injury in 2025, I had to quit my pilates studio. Since then, I’ve wanted to start at-home pilates, but haven’t been consistent. I love using this at-home program. I also want to start buying athleticwear that not only fits my body, but will last. I’m hoping these leggings go on sale!
  • This is actually an item I got for Christmas, but it has radically changed our home life. The Skylight calendar (definitely pricey), is WORTH THE HYPE. It has made scheduling so much easier and it keeps our whole family on the same page. I highly recommend it!
