“Valentine’s Day is the most important day to show people you love them, right mom?
Well, after Jesus’ birthday, right?” – Emma Grace
How freaking sweet is the quote above? Ah, my sweet girl. Happy Valentine’s Day, loves! I hope you’re day is off to a great start! Emma Grace said the quote above when we tucked the girls into bed last night. She is so tender and it was such a sweet reminder about today. Yes, Valentine’s Day can mean mushy, romantic love, but to me it means loving all those around you a bit more. I think we talk daily to our girls about loving everyone around us with our words and actions, and today we can take that to the next level. So, I hope you guys have a day filled with love and loving others!
Let’s talk about this dress though, shall we? I love that it hits on the color block trend going on this season. I of course love the ruffles too! Truth be told, I wasn’t quite sure how the dress would look because the ruffles are a bit loud and asymmetrical. But, once I put it on, I realized how fun and flirty it was! It’s the perfect amount of sass and fits well enough to give you a boost in confidence. It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day dress, but more importantly, it’s just a good dress to have in your closet this Spring. It would be a really great dress to wear to a rehearsal dinner or to a Spring wedding. The dress fits true to size – I’m wearing a small. And again, just for reference, I am 5’2.”
I normally chat quite a bit in my blog posts, but today I’m keeping it short and just wishing you all a fabulous Valentine’s Day!
