Hello, loves! I hope you all survived the 4th of July festivities! We’re still in celebration mode because today is my brother’s birthday! We won’t actually get to see him today, but we’re heading to Houston tomorrow to spend the weekend with him. Are you guys still celebrating?
How fun is this top, y’all? If you can’t tell, it was quite windy when we shot this look. True life – I actually felt a bit flustered. But, in a way I’m glad because it shows off the fun ruffles on this top. I love the texture and femininity of the ruffles – it’s such a fun summer top!
The other benefit to this off the shoulder top? It will never fall off! So many times I shy away from an off the shoulder top because I don’t want to mess with pulling it up all day. This one though has the tiniest, daintiest halter straps that not only keep it up, but add to it’s unique look.
One of the most frequently asked questions I’ve gotten this summer has been about the strapless bra I use. I’ve been wearing this strapless bra from Cosabella for two years now. It’s super comfortable and never slides down. It also looks very smooth under regular tees. It is a bit expensive, but it’s worth it to me if I don’t have to constantly tug at it.
