Y’all, let’s get right down to business today. This freaking hairdryer is life changing and I mean that in the best way possible. I have been blow drying and round brushing my hair since I was in Elementary school (really, my mom blow dried my hair since I was little). Because of my flatter hair, round brushing gives me the volume I lack when my hair air dries. It’s always been step one in my hair routine. Also, everything has to be bigger in Texas, which includes hair, right?
In all seriousness though, I don’t think I could live without blow drying and round brushing my hair. But, it can be such a drag because it takes forever. Over the past year though, I’ve been hearing people talk about this One-Step Hair Dryer – a styling brush and blow dryer in one. I’m pretty skeptical about these types of things, so I honestly honestly thought it was all BS and I didn’t give it a second thought. However, more and more people kept raving about it, so I thought I’d give it a try.
I ordered it several months ago and y’all, it has changed my hair routine in the best way! What used to take me 15 minutes of blow drying not only takes 3 MINUTES! 3 freaking minutes, y’all! I am absolutely not joking either. I actually timed myself the other day and it took me 3 minutes and 2 seconds to blow dry from moderately wet to fully dry and styled. This saves me 10ish minutes in the morning, which means 10 extra minutes with my girls or 10 extra minutes of sleep.
I love, too, that it’s not just a power blow dry. It’s actually a styled blow dry. It gives lift and volume and still styles it as needed. And bonus – it makes blow drying my girls’ hair a real possibility! Normally, my girls moan and complain when I have to dry their hair because it takes so long. But, now that we use this hair brush dryer, we will be able to blow dry before church or before school.
TIPS: start from slightly damp hair if you want it to go faster.
