Happy Hump Day, loves! I hope you guys are having such a great week so far! I can’t tell you guys how excited I’ve been to share this look with you all. This is an outfit that I’ve been eyeing for weeks and finally pulled the trigger on. It’s such a great summer outfit – great for moms, great for singles, great for really any casual outing.
The reason I’ve been so excited to share this post is that I get to tell you guys how awesome these overalls are! You guys, they really are the very best short overalls. And I’m not just saying this. I first happened upon these about 2 months ago at Madewell. Of course I could have walked right out the door with them, but I was hesitant to spend a bit over $100 on overalls.
So, I did what any good sale shopper would do and I price shopped the heck out of overalls. I went to multiple stores, tried on multiple brands, but to no avail. I honestly thought I had a winner at H&M, which was my last brand to try. Online the overalls looked almost identical. However, in store, I had to go up 2 sizes in them and they still were hoochie short and so incredibly tight on the legs. So yea, a big no-go.
So, back to Madewell I went, and I took the plunge. Y’all, you know I love a good sale price, but these were worth the splurge. They are soft, they fit true to size, they are a great length no matter your age, and they’re the perfect fit. They aren’t too tight, but they aren’t too loose. They really are the best short overalls for summer.
