Truth be told, I’m not quite ready to put on a bikini after baby #2, but lucky for me, one pieces are a big trend this summer! Whew. Truly though, I’d almost venture to say that a sexy one piece suit can make more of a statement than a bikini this year. Whether it’s a deep v-neck cut (not sure I’ll be trying this look) or a low back, you can still feel and look sexy in a one piece!
We have several beach and lake trips coming up with our family this year, so I’ve gradually been picking up some new swim suits. Know that I’ll be hands-on with my girls at the beach whether that’s playing in the waves or building sand castles, I know I’ll need some straps on my suit for added support and security. I have also been looking for suits that aren’t super low-cut as I’ll be around family and friends a lot. But, that doesn’t mean I can’t have fun in my suits.
I’m also looking to find suits that have a fun print and fun back detail, and this one fit the bill! As far as sizing goes, I used my bust measurement as my guide as I’m pretty short. I also opted for a breezy caftan as a coverup and am obsessed with the tassels on the bottom hem.
