Happy Hump Day!! Is anyone else experiencing crazy weather like we are here in Dallas? Dallas weather is always a bit up and down, but it’s been crazy lately. Last Thursday it was 85 degrees, then Saturday it felt like it was in the 50s, and today we were back to shorts and a tee. It’s crazy!
When weather is up and down like this I typically try to plan my outfit accordingly and that either means jeans and a short sleeve tee or shorts and a long sleeve top. In today’s post I opted for the latter. I got this top from Chicwish and have had so much fun styling it. So far I’ve worn it with cutoff denim and white jeans. I like that the long sleeves provide a thin layer of warmth, but the ruffles help the top flow and breath well so you’re never sweating. The big ruffles are also a fun take on the ruffle trend happening right now.
I’m sure you also noticed that my jewelry style in this post is a bit different than the usual. I typically just wear this dainty Dana Rebecca necklace and my wedding rings, but got excited about these earrings and added them for a pop of color. I just think the feathers are so fun and the bright colors are a fun nod to Summer.
