Happy Friday, loves! I hope you’ve all had a great week! I’ve been camping with my family outside of Silverton, CO, and we’re now spending the weekend shopping, relaxing, and swimming in the natural springs in Ouray, CO before heading home. It’s been a true treat to get away from the city for a little bit!

For me, I’m a southern girl with a little midwest mixed in and a whole lot of strong will! I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and lived for a brief time in Chicago during high school – hence the “midwest” in my blood. If there’s one thing I love about my southern story though, it’s all the fabulous traits I’ve gained from growing up in the south.
I grew up in a home that was centered around Christ and have had a relationship with God since I was little. I love cooking, was raised to say my please and thank yous, and have witnessed how a woman should be treated by a man by the way my father loves my mother. My southern upbringing has also given me that strong will and independence that runs through most southern women’s blood.
