Emma Grace may still want to hold my hand, give me kisses, and say “I lub you,” but she is getting more and more independent by the day. As a mother, I feel like there is such a fine line between caring for your child to satisfy your own needs and then supporting their independence, desires and strengths. It may not seem like a big step, but the transition from carrying a diaper bag to Emma having her own bag to carry her own things has been a big deal in our home. This precious seersucker backpack has shown us that Emma Grace is fully capable of taking her own blanket, sheet, and snacks to school. Why do they grow up so quickly?
So, if baby girls and boys are going to grow up to be big girls and boys without asking us if it’s okay (haha), then they might as well do it in style! One of my sorority sisters started a company called Stitch Monogramming that does custom monogramming and embroidery. Feel free to check out some photos of her work here. Stitch Monogramming also sells their own products like this precious seersucker backpack that come in both pink and navy with custom embroidery. To us, it’s the perfect accessory for any little tot! Take it to school with you, or to the park full of snacks for a picnic, or on your road trip full of goodies and toys. You decide what your bag will hold! Feel free to visit the shop as well to see more of her sweet products!
