Happy hump day, loves! I hope you’re all going into today energized and ready to give the day your all! As usual, my day is super jumbled with time with my girls, speech therapy, blogging, a hair cut (gotta squeeze it in somewhere), hopefully working out, and meeting with my church small group tonight!
On a different note, if you live in Texas or keep up with the weather around the country, then you probably saw that its been 100 degrees here in Texas the past two days. Yes, you read that right; it’s been 100!! In September! Now, Texas is hotter than most states, but 100 degrees in late September is definitely abnormal. All that to say, you can see why I am constantly trying to adapt current Fall trends to fit our warmer climate.
One of the trends this Fall is sleeveless sweaters or sweater vests. On paper it sounds kind of nerdy, but it’s actually a really cute trend and can easily be worn in warmer or cooler temperatures. If you live somewhere with warmer weather just pair the sweater with jeans, jean shorts, or a cute denim or suede skirt. When the weather shifts to cooler temperatures you simple layer a shirt underneath your sweater or sweater vest, or you could put a leather jacket on top. Super versatile!
I found this sweater (under $50) at Nordstrom a couple weeks back and love the subtle print on it and ruffle neck collar – such fun little feminine details! It fits true to size and the color will be easy to make lots of different outfit combinations this Fall. Now, if we can just get our weather to cool off….
