“p” is for peplum

IMG_4366

We got this adorable peplum top as a gift when Emma Grace was born, and we have been dying to grow into it. We can finally wear it and love the color in addition to the fun peplum cut. We first paired this top with our go-to gap shorts – they are comfortable, easy to crawl around in, and don’t break down in the wash, which are all the things we’ve been wanting in regards to our school attire for Emma Grace. We also invested in some new shoes this weekend as Emma Grace’s feet are growing and had to go to gap – our default store for shoes that are easy to put on (key when your child is a “little wiggle” like ours), cute, and comfortable.

If you can’t tell, we’re working on tooth #8, so everything goes in our mouth…

We paired this same top with our favorite leggings and headband from Little Foot Boutique. See this previous post for more details and another way to style them.

Mommy’s jewelry is more fun when EG gets to wear it.

This last image is not in focus, but I will never forget these sweet moments; the feeling of Emma Grace’s soft, little hands on my skin and her eyes that say “I need you, mommy.”
